Full-Stack Engineer

AI Factory, an Italian spin-off of AI Venture Builder, specialized in the development, integration, and implementation of artificial intelligence (AI) solutions for businesses, is looking for a Full-Stack Engineer with at least 5 years of experience.

In this role, you will lead the end-to-end development of digital products through to production, designing scalable architectures and building complete solutions that effectively integrate AI services. You will be responsible for:

• Designing and implementing full-stack architectures for production-ready products, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and performance;
• Leading the entire product lifecycle, from requirements gathering to production release, with a focus on iterative delivery and continuous feedback;
• Designing and implementing robust APIs for AI service orchestration, managing asynchronous queues, webhooks, and real-time integrations with ML models;
• Packaging complete solutions as SaaS or on-premise products, managing automated deployment and versioning;
• Collaborating closely with AI/ML teams to understand model capabilities and translate them into product features usable by end users.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in full-stack development, with a minimum of 2–3 products successfully brought into production;
• Proven experience in designing scalable architectures and managing the full lifecycle of software products;
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript/JavaScript and major frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, etc.), and backend development experience with Node.js/Next.js (TypeScript) or Python (FastAPI, Django), or equivalent technologies;
• Experience integrating AI/ML services via APIs;
• Experience with NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) and SQL databases, microservices architectures, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes);
• A product-oriented mindset, with the ability to balance technical debt, feature development, and system stability.

Contract and Compensation

• Preference for collaborations with freelancers holding a VAT number (Partita IVA), but permanent employment contracts will also be considered based on profile and mutual needs;
• Compensation commensurate with experience and level of commitment, with the possibility of a customized package discussed during the interview.
